I started the year with a piece on New Years resolutions. This holiday note brings thoughts of self reflection. Have we met our goals? Have we brought positive influence to those around us? Have we realized our personal best in our thoughts, words and deeds?
Ask yourself “What is my return on investment for all the days of holiday preparation?” And “How do I make it a Happy Holidays for others?” So many have lost loved ones, have lost resources and have lost hope of recreating the “happy” of old times
So, my thoughts of the day are this: Begin the journey of self reflection and make note of the joys in your life. Determine what you are grateful for and how you can create positive energy in your business and personal life. Here is an article link that brings some tools to the table. The lessons are more about how not to approach life. If you find that sometimes you just dont feel happy, my advice is ACT happy and it may grow on you. Like Scrooge, we all have past and future ghosts, but make your holidays the present!
